In March 2024, I began compiling a list of deaf and hard of hearing people who have competed for hearing Leather titles. Any additional listings are welcome; it does not matter if the contestant is hard of hearing, deaf, etc, or whether they use sign language or not – they only need to self-identify as D/HH.

There have been many deaf-specific titles over the years, beginning with the US-based International Deaf Leather (1991-2013) and continuing with the Europe-based Mr. International Deaf Leather, Mr. World Deaf Leather, Mr. World Deaf Bear, Mr. Deaf Fetish Germany, and Mr. Deaf Bear Germany. This page is focused on hearing contests, but I encourage you to learn more about deaf titles as well! Perhaps someday I will do a history of them.
